Tell your doctor about any and all medications you are currently taking. Medication for conditions as varied as arthritis, blood thinning, high blood pressure, and diabetes should all be listed in detail for your doctor. You must fast for at least ten hours prior to the surgery and will not be able to consume anything by mouth.
