What Is The Full Form Of IHBR In Medical?

IHBR full form in medical term is Intrahepatic biliary Radicles. These are a network of tiny tubes that transmit bile inside the liver. The tinniest ducts, named ductules, join together to create the left and right hepatic ducts that exit the liver. These ducts joint outside the liver and create the common hepatic duct.

Simply put, the Intra Hepatic Biliary Radicles are the tubes that carry bile outside and inside of the liver, which means IHBR are not dilated, meaning IHBR have no illness of the biliary tubes. Usually, by body scans or ultrasound, only the more giant bile ducts can be notable. However, if the intrahepatic bile ducts are dilated, it is understandable that there is a blockage downstream, which is irregular.
