BSAM full form in medical is Bachelor of Shuddha Ayurvedic Medicine. BSAM was an Ayurveda course offered by the Government Ayurvedic Medical College (GAMC) which is now known as the BAMS or Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery in India. This course in the Ayurveda field is four and half years long, and along with that, the students who sign up for a BSAM or BAMS course must complete a one-year compulsory internship. After that, many career and employment options open up for a BAMS student.
This course was first introduced in India with affiliation with Bangalore University. And at first, the number of students who signed up for this course was below 100.
