BPT full form in medical term is Bachelor of Physiotherapy. It is a four-year-long undergraduate physiotherapy course for those who’re interested to become physiotherapists. With this course, you’ll learn about human anatomy in detail and how many diseases can be treated without the use of any drug. As a BPT student, you’ll learn about physical movement, post-fracture maneuvers, chronic pain, other injuries, etc.
BPT is a shorter course than MBBS, yet there are so many job opportunities in the Physiotherapy domain. Once completing the 4-year course of BPT, students are required to take part in a 6-month-long internship for practical knowledge. Talking about the eligibility criteria, a student must have passed 10+2 in respective subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and most importantly Biology with a minimum of 50% marks. However, the course itself is in English, therefore a student must have passed an English subject in 10+2 as well. Talking about the age factor, when taking admissions in an institution for a BPT course, a student’s age must not be less than 17, however, there are some colleges or institutions that have their own set of rules.
