ATD Full Form in Medical is Aerosol Transmissible Diseases. An aerosol is a liquid droplet or solid particle suspended in gas or environment, either permanent or temporary. It consists of a dust particle with a virus by comprehensive debris or a droplet with influenza virus transmitted via sneeze or cough.
Measles, Tuberculosis, and chickenpox are the best examples of ATD. Droplets or infectious particles spread such diseases through direct contact with mucous membranes in the eyes or respiratory tract or through inhalation. In contrast, airborne transmission of ATDs is known as airborne bone infectious diseases. ATD can cause due to the growth and availability of pathogenic biologic agents and infections in a person or other animal host.
